What we do know is that in Christ, God has shown forth his infinite mercy. In our Baptismal Covenant, we do know who God has called us to be.

Christians live every day somewhere between divinity and humanity. Sometimes we walk on the water and sometimes we slip down under the waves.

Jesus speaks to us in parables not because he can't get to the point but because the point is very hard to comprehend. He needs to take it slowly. He is inviting us into the mysterious things of God.
